Gary McKinnon Appeal Decision
According to the Russian Copruter Criminal Code an Article 272 considers an unauthorized access to computer information to be a crime and not knowing the laws does not mean that the person is not guilt, which is similar in US criminal code. All the pages of the cite devoted to Gary's case does not really describe us in details what kind of crime he did, but just says that he accessed to computers of US, what is pritty serious, and it is difficult to answer whether he is hacker or not. Nonetheless, according to the analysts and decisions considered by judges i am coming to conclusion that he is a hacker, not everyone can access to NASA database as it is highly secured. BBS discusses that now there is a dispute, they are trying to share him wethear to put him for life in US or for48 years in UK. I think there is no difference because Gary is already 42 years old and 48 years for him will be like for life.
I think this is cybercrime according to the consitution, but to my point of view its cyber terrorism beacuse he was trying to access NASA, so security of US and damage somehow peacful life of citizens in U.S.
